Exhibitors and Participants are welcome from ACROSS THE STATE to participate at the Hill District Grandstand:

Livestock Judging Contest

All Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champions form each species will be required to sell. 

All livestock must stay in designated areas! This rule will be strictly enforced.

The Hill District Grandstand Show will offer 4 state wide competitive divisions:

Breeding Sheep

Ag Mechanics

Livestock Judging Contest

Turkeys

2023 Hill District Grandstand Rule Book

Entry Information

Each exhibitor will have to enter online. Families with multiple exhibitors will need to complete the online entry process for each exhibitor individually. Entry fee is $35 per head (limit 2 head per market show). 

The entry deadline for the Hill District Grandstand Show is December 1, 2022. CEAs & AST need to have all Hill District Grandstand Entries approved for their club/chapter by midnight December 9th. 

 

Late entries will be accepted from December 2, 2022 through January 6, 2023 for $100 late fee.

Entries may be completed on the day of arrival for each respective division for $250.00 per entry.

The Hill District Grandstand Show will not host the traditional State Jr. Angora Show. For more information about the Texas Junior Angora Goat Show please contact Dr. Speck. 

Who can enter the Hill District Grandstand? 

Youth that are good standing members of their 4-H or FFA club/chapter from the following counties...

 

MARKET LAMB, GOAT, STEER, SWINE AND HEIFER DIVISIONS:

Atascosa, Bandera, Blanco, Burnet, Comal, Concho, Crockett, Dimmitt, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Lampasas, Live Oak, Llano, Mason, Maverick, McCulloch, Medina, Menard, Reagan, Real, San Saba, Schleicher, Sutton, Upton, Uvalde, Val Verde, Wilson, and Zavala counties

 

PUREBRED & CROSS-BRED GILT DIVISIONS:

Atascosa, Bandera, Bell, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Comal, Concho, Coryell, Crockett, Dimmitt, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Lampasas, Live Oak, Llano, Mason, Maverick, McCulloch, Medina, Menard, Reagan, Real, San Saba, Schleicher, Sutton, Travis, Upton, Uvalde, Val Verde, Williamson, Wilson, and Zavala counties.
